Zouheir El Labban
Zouheir has a B.Soc.Sc (Honours) with a Specialization in Public Administration and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa. He has lived 21 years in the Middle East and has completed all his primary and secondary education in the Arabic language which has given him fluency and a very strong grasp of the language. His expertise includes Project Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing.
Prior to joining ISR, Zouheir worked at the National Radon Laboratory within the Radiation Protection Bureau of Health Canada where he was the Radon Testing Team Leader on the National Radon Project. He has continued working in the radiation protection field since joining ISR in 2011, and has been a major contributor to the management and execution of various projects in this field. He has been involved in the management and execution of over 40 projects concerning the radon survey of occupied buildings and Residential Housing Units at various military installations throughout Canada. His work includes the deployment, retrieval and analysis of more than 50,000 Alpha Track Detectors, as well as the execution of the radon survey requirements site assessment of 23 Canadian Forces Bases/Wings across Canada, in addition to providing recommendations for retesting/mitigation for each of the sites. When not fully engaged in radon work, Zouheir works with ISR assisting in the development and delivery of CBRNE counter terrorism related training and exercises.
