CBRNE and ICS Trainer
Rowan Morris is a specialist in the field of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) defence and emergency response. Prior to joining ISR he was a Naval Officer for 23 years, 15 of which was spent as a CBRN Defence Specialist. During this time, he was employed as The CBRN Defence Training Officer for the East Coast Fleet, Staff Officer for Naval CBRN defence equipment and policy at Maritime Forces Atlantic Headquarters, and as a Special CBRN Defence Advisor in the Arabian Gulf region in 1998. Mr. Morris also spent 6 years as the Nuclear Emergency Response (NER) Team Leader for Maritime Forces Atlantic. In this capacity he was responsible for policy, equipment, training, and operational aspects of the NER Team; leading the team during more than 50 operational periods. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the design and execution of complex NER and CBRNE exercises involving multiple municipal, provincial, and federal agencies including his experience as the project manager for Exercise Integrated Response 08, two live CBRN exercises held in Vancouver in preparation for the Winter Olympics and assisting in the design and execution of a series of counter terrorism exercises in the Netherlands including EXERCISE COBALT 09, BIOSHIELD GLOBAL 2010 and CHEMSHIELD 2011.
Mr. Morris is also a certified fire fighter with approximately 10 years experience and is a certified Radon Measurement Technician.
