Professional Summary

Mr. Mike McCall is the CEO of International Safety Research Inc., a Nuclear Engineer and a Professional Engineer. Mike was previously employed for 23 years with the Royal Canadian Navy and worked in engineering and nuclear emergency preparedness and response. He has extensive (25+ years) experience as a senior level engineer, program, project and personnel manager. Mr. McCall has detailed experience in emergency safety management programs, emergency preparedness and response training, exercising, safety program development, exercise development, conduct and evaluation, CBRNE response, technical risk assessments, personnel and budgetary management, and nuclear safety and regulatory experience.

Mr. McCall has written plans and procedures for DND/CAF, most government departments and many provincial ministries in Ontario and BC. From 2007-2010 he assisted the province of BC in writing and updating all emergency response plans at the ministerial and municipal levels in preparation for the V2010 Olympic games (i.e., all hazards, CBRNE, counter terrorism plans). From 2012-2107 he worked with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC-Middle East) developing their All Hazard Threat and Risk Assessment and the subsequent regional and National plans and procedures (for all six countries). Mr. McCall has led over 180 exercises ranging from development, conduct, facilitation, and evaluation for small TTXs to large scale field exercises (largest spanned 11 countries and over 4500 participants). Mr. McCall also has oversight on all ISR projects and provides final quality assurance on corporate deliverables.
