ISR to support upcoming Centre for Security Science Post-Blast Capability Exercise

ISR has been awarded a task under the Centre for Security Science Exercise Program to support the evaluation of a full-scale post-blast capability validation exercise in Quebec. This exercise will involve an urban blast scenario with response activities ranging from forensics, on-site incident management and responder health and safety. ISR will work with CSS and participating organizations to implement an evaluation process that will effectively capture current gaps or limitations and strengths in post-blast response activities.

This exercise will provide the opportunity to test the current level of interoperability between the responding organizations and to identify strengths and best practices in the current response activities. ISR has been given the opportunity to work with the Service de Police de la Ville Montreal and to develop customized evaluation materials to most effectively identify any gaps and expertise of this community in responding to a post-blast event.
